Altezza painting( No not the skyline tails)

I plan on doing to A.E. headlight mod within the next couple of days and i remember seeing a thread about using the same procedure for the altezzas, and painting the chrome housing black. Does anyone have a picture of this. and also, can you use the same method for the A.E,. headlights?

yea, I'm not sure if it will come out dark black, or sort of gunmetal looking like the black chrome altezzas

Make em body color! I'm about to do this. Get a can of your code in spray can and paint away.

Yeah, that looks clean, but his car is black. Black on black really makes them flow together. Black on tan is ???

painting the inside of the altezza makes it look much much better than paining the outside. I did not have to worry i got gunmetal gen 2 tails, but i am thinking about painthing them black to match my ae headlight. I am also going to to try carbon fiber ae headlights.

true, true. I figured that I liked the way that the AE headlights fit with the tan color, and figured that I would try it. Only problem is that when you paint there is no turning back. But it wouldnt really be dark black as it would be a gunmetal color. not as dark. If that makes any sense

it loosk awsome if you paint the whold inside of the corner light. my ae's have teh corner painted as well, and it looked so much better than when it was just my headlights.

there is no turning back..but who cares....it is not that noticable unless there are 2 maxes side by side. it worth it thought cause just look so bad ***!

if different means ugly, then you are right on.

paint them body color. why didnt you buy "carbon fiber" altezzas in the first place? Just use the same insructions for skyline tails, but use black paint. Anyone with carbon fiber tails can show you what it would look like. Honestly...paint them body colored, it sounds ugly
