Help on making a mesh grill for my 99 Max

i looked at the vqpower how to ...one and that one i dont understand at all, is there any other web sites out there, or can som1 explain it a little better?

all i did was went to home depot and got the gutter mesh and then make sure you get some good wire cutters and then just cut away. Put a piece of cardboard on your grille to get a template and then cut....then use wire ties to hold it secure....hope that helps

I used cardboard, cutout the template I measured from the grille, rubberbanded the cardboard to piece of mesh, then trimmed out...heres a pic:

o so u take out the black plastic and just put in the mesh?

No no....you put the grille mesh over the black. You have to make a template out of cardboard of the shape of the black parts. Then cut out the mesh about the size of the template + 2" all the way around, and bend the extra 2" mesh 90 degrees to the template and start trimming to make it fit. Then use black zip ties to hold it
