are red/clears easy to do by hand?

im a highschool and a newbie with my new 97 max. im also broke, so obviously the $5 figure for doing red clears by hand is preferable to the $160 pre-fab choice. question is...is it easy? (considering im a newbie) and does anyone know how long this will take, or have pics, or links, or any input at all. thanx

p.s. i'm sure this is all over the database, but the search feature isn't workin on my comp.

It was very easy for me, I'm a highschooler too. But I bought my cutouts to put in there already cut, so I don't know how hard to cut is. Also, watch out for the black adhesive, it goes everywhere.

you just have to BE CAREFUL

If you take your time, you can do it yourself..I have done four sets, two of which went perfect, and one which went a lil wrong, the other horribly wrong...But the two that went wrong, i wasnt working alone... hahahahah No really tho, you can do it, just use the oven instead of heat gun...much easier

Check these links from the How to's

The hardest thing is to get the lights removed with the sealant. Especially when it is bloody friggen cold.
