This is the one by the passenger firewall. It's near the oil pressure switch. This is NOT the one by the radiator.

No. If you replaced the O2 sensor then you know where the plug goes. Or did you just solder in the new sensor? Check the connection. You probably just need to change the other sensor.

Like I said, the one you changed is NOT the correct one. If you look on this link http://www.courtesyparts.com/A32_O2-sensors.html the one closest to the front (near the radiator) is the LEFT sensor. The RIGHT bank sensor is the one by the oil pressure switch, http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/514 (near the oil filter area)

if the part number on the diagram is the same, obviously they are interchangeable.

I just looked and the numbers are different. I suspect the difference is in the length of the wire, or in the shape of the connector . Be prepared to splice the wires.

The sensors are the same (look on http://www.oxygensensors.com), the only difference is the length of the wire. The ones you buy from a Nissan dealer have a perfect length so the wire isn't dragging somewhere. One wire is shorter than the other (so 2 different part numbers). The ones you buy from http://www.oxygensensors.com are the ones with the long wire so they would fit in both places (one wire might be dragging, not sure)

****UPDATE*****

ok , i changed the sensor today without even having to do any spilcing and everything fit perfect. Problem is im still getting the same codes for the right bank sensor and the knock sensor. So now im thinkin my knock sensor is causing both codes.

Also i have an air fuel gauge, it used to bounce around, now it stays at stoich and goes to lean at high rpms. is this normal?

After you replaced the sensor, did you reset the CEL?

You replaced the one halfway down the y pipe, not the one closest to the front of the car, right? You didn't bust the sensor installing it, did you? I once sprayed WD40 on a 02 sensor trying to screw it in, and I think that screwed it up? There were no visible signs of damage, but I kept getting the code. I bought a new sensor, installed it with antiseize, and that fixed it.

Make sure you have premium fuel in your tank and do the knock sensor resistor mod and see if that solves your problem. If it does, then your KS is bad. If it doesn't, then the KS is still good and there might still be a problem with the O2 sensor.

If it doesn't come with its own wide-band O2 sensor it is USELESS...

According to the Nissan FSM, if an 02 sensor is dropped from a height of over 8" (something like that), it's to be replaced. 02 sensors are very fragile.

Also, the knock sensor will NOT throw 02 sensor codes. Only failing 02 sensors throw o2 sensor and knock sensor codes. If the knock sensor code is thrown by itself, then it's a problem with the knock sensor or harness.

Nope. I have a high flow cat (which does nothing) and my 7 year old OEM sensor reads just fine. Confirmed with my OBD Scan plotting software.
