KYB GR-2 VS OEM shocks/struts

Hey, I plan on replacing my shocks / struts within the next 2 months or so. I was wondering should I go with the KYB GR-2's or OEM? I don't want high performance just looking for the best, cheapest replacement before I sell my max in april this year. Also anyone know where I can get oem shocks/struts besides the stealership?
Thanks,

Nick

GR2s are 15% stiffer than stock SE shocks.

i don't know about sprint, but i know H&R springs will lower the car while maintaining ride quality.

It depends on whats important to you

If your going to sell the car tho, it would be easier with OEM springs, so it doesn't look lowerd, alotta people frown upon dropped cars

Yeah I thought about going back to the 4 x 4 look to sell it...I don't know if I want to part the car out though. Besides I am pretty sure I can find a new kid here on base that would love a car like this....the import scene is pretty big for the small town I live in.

If your going to keep it lowered, get the GR2's. There the cheapest strut you can buy that will control a more agressive (lower) spring.

Yes - they do seem to be good quality - I have them on my winter beater
93 Geo Prizm Lsi and they ride great - tthey have some patented valving system( altough Geo stock springs have much more tension on them than Maxima springs )

pretty soon I will put those in rear , in place of my KYB AGX.

the fronts are like $72 a piece and rears are $50 a piece.
