remember he said he has a oem b-pipe which has a pretty decent size resonator. I have a similar muffler with a fabricated 2.5" b-pipe. I had the exhaust shop cut out my stock resonator and use it on my custom b-pipe. It sounds great. Not one bit buzzy or raspy.btw I have a y-pipe too

Is is mandrel? $81 sounds like a steel if everyone likes it so much. What do you mean you don't have the tools? You don't have a socket wrench.

i wouldnt have been able to get under the car with just the stock jack. well i would have just not safely, i didnt wanna jerk the bolts around with the car on the jack, if i didnt have h&r's i would probably have been able to do it with the car sittin there. yes it is mandrel bent, as far as i could telll. the same clamps you use on the intake, the are 3 inch hose clamps that you can get at sears

Well, mine came in on saturday, and i finally got to put it on today. All i can say is wow. It has this great deep almost rumble to it at idle. It has no ricey sounds whatsoever, even with the leaky flex section in my y-pipe.

Overal, for the money i give it a 8 outta 10, simply because it does drone alittle around town (35-45), and i think i'll be needing to fill up more often

other than the slight drone, i have no complaints, and even some of my buddies think it sounds sick, so that's good. all i gotto do now is re-allign the tip so it fits in there better.

well its been 2 weeks. my impressions are that the car feels great and the exhaust sounds perfect. i wouldnt change it to anything else. im kind scared to get a b pipe because of all the issues people have with them. as far as im concerned any aftermarket b pipe wouldnt be as impressive for the amount of hassle and *possible* fitment issues as the stock b. my axle back has not gotten too much louder or anything like that and the drone is about the same. it seems to have improved my gas mileage, even tho im accelerating hard, its giving me 1 mpg+ where i was without it, im curious to see if its better without the hard accel as well, anyways i still love the axle back

been there done that already. It really fills the cutout in the bumper nicely. Even my dad, off all people, said the car sounds great, and he hates me modifying the car.
