Missing Front Strut Bolt

I just noticed that one of the nuts on one of the front strut bolts on my driver's side is missing...is this an immediate safety danger?

no. I drove with only 4 bolts untill I had a chance to put a new one in. Avoid races or high speed pursuits tough...drive normally. I mean like a old nun or so, not a like a max driver.

Or do you mean the nut holding one of the two large horizontal bolts that connect the strut to the steering knuckle? Missing one of those could be very bad

Just get it replaced asap. It's a weirdo thread, Home depot doesn't have it. Check with a good hardware store or go to Nissan.
