Can I fit 97GLE leather into a 98 GXE?

The covers for a power adjusted seat are different from the covers for a manually adjusted seat. If your car has the same type of adjusters, they should fit.

Are you swapping out seats from a 97 into your 98? Yes, then this should work, but mind you a 97GLE will have power seats, and unless your GXE has front power seats, you will have to do some wiring to get it to work.

If you are talking about removing the leather off the 97 seats and attaching it to your 98 seats, then i guess it should be pretty straight forward, like those leather kits they sell. But make sure you buy some of those rings to hook the seats back on, because when you remove the cloth, you will end up cutting them.

What I want to do is just swap the leather from a GLE into my car, the thing is that my passenger seat isn't power operated, so what I might do is buy a kit made to suit for my car, insted of buying the used leather. Does anybody know if the kits are any good?
