'99 Max Alignment Problem

I've got a 99 Max that has 56K miles on it and I'm the original owner. About a year ago the car started getting out of alignment and I'll have to fight the wheel. The car pulls to the left. My mechanic has looked at it and he will align it and show me the computer print out of how far it was out of alignment and where it is when he aligns it. All looks fine, but 3-4 months later, it's out of alignment again. I mentioned this to him and he said that it could be the CV joints, but when he checked he said they weren't leaking. He mentioned that the axle could be slightly twisted, but said he couldn't tell. Anyone have any suggestions? Does it harm anything to drive the car while out of alignment?

Hmmm, fine for a few months then not huh? Is it just one side that goes out of alignment? Maybe something's loose? Sure it isn't something obvious but overlooked like one of the upper strut mounting nuts or one of the two bolts holding the strut to the steering knuckle that might be loose?

Anybody else?
