Axles w/ ABS vs. axles w/o ABS

Will an axle with the ABS speed sensor fit in a Maxima that doesn't have ABS?

I'm not sure but I highly doubt it. I know it won't work on third gens. Just my .02 I guess

I believe it will. I think someone before said that parts from an ABS car will fit a non-abs car but not vice versa. That was from the 5spd tranny swap instructions but not 100% sure.

Yes they do work. You can also pry the ABS pick up ring off the ABS axel but it's not necessary. If you go the other way around, putting a non ABS axel into an ABS equipped car you will immediately get and ABS failure and set the light on.

I learned that one from first hand experiance. Ask Matty....

Damn all these years I thought the car had ABS. I guess I should have checked the fusebox for the lack of ABS stuff a long time ago.
