Not bad at all. A lot better than what was in there before, standard Sylvania bulbs. Looking into Silver Stars? Go for it!

I have silverstars too and I have to admit they look awesome, my only complaint is that in rain or snow its almost impossible to tell if they are on. I dunno why this is, but its very dificult to see in bad weather...good luck with them

I had silverstars in my last car, and had the same issue with wet roads and almost 0 visibility. I wonder why that is? I'm just running stockers in my Max now. Any recommendations on better bulbs than the silverstars for crap weather driving?

I appreciate your comments, because they say it all, the fact that you went back to stock. What the heck good are any aftermarket lamps if you can't see when it rains? That's ludicrous.

I like everyone else like to have the latest/greatest, but can't understand the fascination with having aftermarket HID when it has no high beams nor can it be aimed properly. Before that people were burning out their wiring harnesses for high wattage bulbs. Doesn't make any sense. my .02

I've been running Silver Stars since the summer without a problem.
I think I picked them up at a local auto parts store for maybe $30.
I love em'- for $30 they work great.

I'm installing R32 Skyline headlamps with H4 bulbs, so if anyone wants the used silver stars- I will be getting rid of them when I install the new headlamps.

As for skeelo34 - if your bulbs went bad in a week - you should have brought them back. My bulbs are fine, maybe you got "hand oil" on them.
Your not suppose to touch the actual bulb. Because the oil from your skin can damage it- or so the packaging says.

I paid 15.75 for each bulb at Autozone. They were normally 19.99 each but the cashier gave me a discount for some reason. Anyway, as for visibility...IMO it lights up the road just like my previous bulbs. A better, more briliant white color is what I am gettting now. No complaints!

My Silverstars worked for 1 1/2 years, they're sitting in a box now as a backup set in case my HIDs go out. In fact, they weren't brand new, I bought them used from the org. I don't think these bulbs burn out quickly.
