HARD start after angine swap..HELP!!!!

Hello fellow members. Well I recent had an engine swap.... everything runs fine after the car starts. It feeels like it can go from East coast to west coast and back with no problems. BUT!!...when the car is off and then i try to start it... the car struggles to turn-over. Feels like it won't make it down the block. Can anyone who has experience this and corrected the problem please help...THe guy that did the engine swap has tried everything. I just want to get a list of option he could check agian... if he hasn't done so already. Feel free to leave your number if instructions to correct this problem maybe long to type out. Much thankx to anyone and everyone who can help...

Try swapping your old crank position sensor. I've heard that this sensor can cause hard starting.

After I swapped engines I had the same problem. I had to hold the throttle open a tad to get the engine to start.

After about 2 weeks, the problem just went away. I never figured out what the problem was.

check the crank postion sensor and your starter.
Starter might need to be re-greased.
