Led

Has anyone tried the LED 1156 and/or 1157 tailight bulbs? They're like $20 a pair at auto zone. I didn't know if they look good enough to pay $60 for the entire rear end decked out with LEDs. Thanks.

I have them, Im happy w/ them. I think you could find them a lil cheaper though......

BTW-I think the speed up the blinker rate

Most of those stores ae good about returning stuff. You could put them in for a day-if you didnt like them return them and say that you thought the werent safe or some BS like that and they would return them or atleast give you store credit

i had these in my old car, they didn't light up the entire housing, just a dot in the middle.

the light goes stright out, unless you get a couple of them new ones that have side-mounted, or wide angle LEDs

I have the brake and tail LEDs. I used to have the blinker ones, but I didn't like them. The blinker bulb runs out at an angle, so during the day, the Blinker (1156) bulb is hard to see. I removed it and went to a normal bulb. Since the brake and tail lights are designed where the bulb faces back, they are much easier to see.

In your opinion, are they worth the money? Or is stock sufficient?
