I realized i probably should have posted this in the 4th gen forums instead of gmd...


My airbag light has been blinking for close to a year now since I started it on a cold day last December. Does anyone know how to turn it off without taking off the dash and removing the LED? I tried resetting the ecu and that didnt do it. The dealer looked at it a while back when they did some other stuff and said the whole console needed to be replaced (~$995) Im gonna just say **** it, and ill cut my losses. However, something the dealer did turned it off ( I believe they diagnose and reset the ecu electronically) So as of last month, it had finally stopped blinking. One day, though, i hit the horn and it came back on. Can anyone provide some help? I tried taking out the fuse and it still stays on, it just doesnt blink. Thanks
