Heated Seats ????????

I need to know how to install heated seats. I just got new seats that are heated but my old ones werent. Is there pre wiring? or whaat ?

I'm pretty sure that the seats are prewired.... look under your carpet and you should see some kind of connection..........
I say that because I swapped seats in my mother's Dodge Intrepid and they were prewired....I think most of the cars are.....

no i cant find anything under there i was actually curious what i need to do to get the working. What i need to buy ?

hmmm..strange, i thought that all cars would be pre-wired the same...
can someone that actually knows this for sure reply if it's prewired or not??? I'm just curious and I'm sure it would help this guy out too..

there definetly pre wired for automatic seats. but not sure on the heat.

I'm looking for a pair of black heated seat. Let me know if anyone have a set in black color for sale. The winter is killing my rear end. Anyone have any estimation of how much does it cost and installation? Thanks

when you take out the heated seats from the car in the junkyard make note of how its connected(possibly grab some wireing)...also i'd grab the 2 buttons in the center console that control the heated seats. the heat would come from electricity which means it would be a normal power connector 12v..and the switch probably determins the 2 settings, which in turn means how much juice the seats are getting...

at least thats what i assume.
if you opened up a haynes manuel it probably explains it all very clearly.

So does anyone know if there is any harness already there that I can use to simply plug in heated/power seats into my non power/heated seat car?
