I can't speak for the WSP, but my Budget was very poorly made. Their y-pipe are grade A though... I know that doesn't make sense, but that is the case and many people have found the same results.

The flanges were all welded on just a little crooked, but that makes a HUGE difference. The whole 4 foot piece of pipe end up crooked and it bangs the heat sheild. Also it would not seal with my muffler for some reason, kept leaking. I had a shop take care of the problem, but next time I would just go with a brand name (A'pexi, Stillen) catback and save myself the trouble of these individually made pipes.

I have a WSP B and Y. My experience is very similar to yours. Excellent Y and worthless B.

Why are there so many problems with B-pipes from both of the companies?

I think it just may be a diffcult product to manufacture with proper fitment.

Couldnt you just have the section that's crimped cut out and a smoother section put in for cheaper by a local shop. Im pretty sure the only difference is the "crimped" section of the factory Bpipe. Other than that I think the factory Bpipe is fine....

Theres a pic of my budget resonated b-pipe on page 2 of homepage.

Im not to satisfied with it , it hung realy low when i put it on and had to have 2 extra hangers made. But it sounds great and came with a magnaflow resonator.

You are 100% right. The fact is that if a bend is slightly off, the whole pipe will have poor fitment. With the y-pipe it is only 90-degree bends, which are easy to get right since the angle can be visably checked. But with the b-pipe they are strange angles and unless perfect it will hang too low or clank against the hear sheilds. Keep in mind it has a LOT of play in it, where the y-pipe has none. due to it's mounting points. That's why your best bet is a big name company catback (Apexi, HKS, etc) because their pipes are more or less totally machine made and the bends are dont by computer. But don't be fooled, even those can have problems - it's just much less likely.
