Great little car. served me well for many years with no problem... I miss her... even if she was a wimpy looking car. Still got up and went when I wanted to. Lost the fight against the Honda Pilot though...
What kind of car is that? Can't tell with all that snow on top of that car. Also g4nismo are you talking to me when you said WTF someone would do something to a Maxima?Originally Posted by the_3d_man

lol
i wanted to see if anyone would figure out what it was
It was a Hyundai Elantra. I got that car with 27000 miles and it was murdered with 90000 miles and the only thing I ever had go wrong was a spark plug cable shorted out on me once. That was the only good pic I had. Taken in Colorado Springs. I got some funny looks driving back to Houston. It took about 500 Miles of driving before the snow and Ice finally melted off the car

I drove my Maxima to school. My main concern was maintanence, so most of the mods on the car now weren't on there during high school. All I tried to do was keep the car clean, and put a coat of wax on once in a while.
Now, I have all the mods in my sig, suspension and y pipe going on during Spring Break, and conteplating a 50 shot of wet nitrous.
The most noticable things that my high school car buddies didn't see: STS, tint, stereo, brakes, tires, suspension and exhaust (soon), and also my completely polished out car using a Porter Cable and Sonus/Klasse. My car was looking good by the end of this past summer, and can't wait to detail my car again when I get home from college in the summer.
My "dream" is to have nitrous installed right when I get home from college, while high school is still in session, rolling into the parking lot when they get out of school with the windows tinted, car lowered, bass bumping, going up to my group of friends who still go to high school who own a 94 Prelude H22 (full exhaust, nitrous, yaddayaddaya) and a 1G TSI to name a few, and purge the nitrous in front of them.

Wish I could post the pictures of 67211F7A01964...the last picture I have of it is from 1998 at Charlotte Speedway for SAAC open track. A 16 year-old driving a REAL Shelby... what were my parents thinking...
I had the pleasure and honor of owning this baby from 1972 to 1998 and I WILL find the owner of the beige CJ7 from Putnam County, Georgia one day...here or asking St. Peter to give him the "hot ticket" to eternity with the rest of his idiot-type drivers. Nowadays the 77 Zcar and the two Maxima SE's have to carry the load, and I do enjoy them too. God...how I miss that car!!

When I graduated last year, I got worst driver actually haha. Anyway, I Drove a purple 93 Ford Ranger with a L4 for the first 2 months of my jr. year. I wrecked that in october, went to court, pretty much got in trouble. So Jan. of my Jr.- this past summer, I drove a 1993 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition. I went through 3 trannys with that thing and god know what else.... All i gotta say is, goood times with that thing.

When I graduated in 2002, I had a 1979 gmc sierra. Looked like hell. Primmered fenders. pop riveted sheetmetal. But 454 toped with a 1200 dominator, backed by a built 4spd fro t+m transmission, and a 12 with 4:11 to top it off. Looked like hell, ran like a beast.
