Before I invest in a new set of 20 inch Enkei AKA rims, i wanted to know if anybody knows if 21" rims will fit on the Maxima. I have my wheel-well's cut out so I can fit the 20's but if 21's will fit, hey, why not??

Your car is going to drive funny, thats why not. haha

But if your going for looks I would keep it 20" cause 21"s are rediculas. BTW good luck finding 21" tire$.

You do not need 21 inch wheels
You do not need 20 inch wheels
You do not need 19 inch wheels
You do not need some super-micro-low profile tire --

You should get a wheel under 20 pounds weight --
You should get a tire that has at least 1400 Pounds weight load capacity at maximum tire pressure ---

Please don't turn your car into a 3100 pound paperweight --
You'll just become a bigger target for cops --- after they cite you for losing control of your car because your wheels were too big and the tires too weak ---

I think that 21's would look funny on the Max. I have 20's and it looks enormous already.

if you are going to put 20" rims on i hope u have coilovers, if not it will look like a 4x4 and forget about your ride. any maxima lowered more than 2" drives like ****. if it's just for looks and your not going to drive it go with 22".

No 21" rims will not fit. The tire size they make is 295/35-21 and that is way too wide for a max. Please don't put any Enkei A.K.A.'s on your max because they are some of the most horrible wheels that have come out. They don't even look like real chrome. They look like some poorly polished metal after you get them on your car.

I wouldn't bother with 21"s, tires will be too big and your car's gonna look jacked up. The rolling diameter is going to be so much bigger than stock that even with the suspension slammed, it's gonna ride high. Sometimes I think my 19"s are too big, but most of the time they look just right. I think 19"s are the biggest you can get and keep a stock rolling diameter. I saw a max with 20"s and he was running like 255/35/20 which is bigger diameter than stock. It looked kind of funny. Stick with 20"s, but even then, there are very few nice looking rims in that size.

21" rims can be fitted on a maxima. i have a friend who works at wheelware house in anaheim, ca.
he has a 96 maxima. since he works there, his shop gives him new rims like every other month to put them on his car and drive around(promotion stuff).
he had 20s about 4 months ago, but last time i checked, he had 21s. his tires were 245/30/19s. i know it's a messed up diameter, but it works without scrubbing..he also has eibachs in his car. to tell u the truth, 21s a little too extreme for maximas. 19s or maybe 20s at the most. if u want performance, uh....then stay under 18s.

21" rims

Sorry, I was mistaken. I just checked a tire rack ad and I found some small 21" tires. They might be able to fit on a max. The tire size is 245/35-21. They are some Dunlop SP Sport 9000. I also checked the tire size calculator and the 21" wheel and tire combo will make your car 10.31% slower.

Which wheel company has "J" for an emblem?

I bought my car used, and it has these chrome wheels with a "J" in the middle. I have no idea who makes them. Does anyone here know?
