Let your car warm up a little, take it for a a 10-20 minute drive and at every complete stop (over 3 seconds), check how low it idles......since its cold, usually it idles a little higher than normal until it completely warms up

EDIT: nm about the cold, you live in AZ ....here in CT its like -10

same here that is what heppens after you clean the TB do the rpms stay at 1k then when you come to a stop they drop alittle then rise back up? there is a small **** next to the TB to adjust it my mechanic did it for me and dropped my rpms to 750 I did not see what he touched I was standing far away but he did it.

That **** is on the IACV valve and is very sensitive so if you dont know what to do, dont touch it. If you havent touched the IACV valve at all, I doubt you'd need to adjust it. I've cleaned my TB plenty of times and this somewhat happens to me...just drive around a little and it'll go to normal

I drove around it drops down to about 750 then goes back to 1000 and hovers around there. it's a 5spd if that makes a difference. I have a mechanic stayin with my family might have to have him take a look at it tomorrow. I want to be runnin' proper for imports v. domestics and break low 15's .. I hope that helps

If you drove around and its still doing it, then I say do the IACV screw adjustment. Read the manual carefully and turn the screw in very small increments

Hmm...I was under the impression that everything was fine and the idle was just high. Now its starting to sound like a problem with the throttle position sensor
