Reverse Indiglo Gauges Installed *pics*

Here are the pics of my reverse indiglo gauges installed. I cut holes for the screws to hold them down better and I used double sided tape. So far so good. I also got gauge rings from Paradox Systems. The total cost was $70. I also had to make the needles red with a marker so that they would show up. To make the needles brighter after I made them red I took the blue condoms off of the 5 bulbs that light up the cluster. Taking them off made a big difference. The first pic is of the stock GLE gauges (only pic I had) and the second two are the new ones.

I got them from this e-Bay auction. He originally sent me the wrong ones (the ones with the blue indiglo circle in the middle) but I returned them for the correct ones.

They look nicem especially with the gauge rings.

Just one thing though: You should try to get blue or red bulbs for behind the odometer so it will match everything instead of being the orange, it will look good, IMO.

The odometer definitely does not match but it is not as orange as the pic shows. The install was not very difficult but it did take some time. I used the instructions at maximadriver.com. The hardest part was making sure the holes I cut for the screws matched up.

What is the size of this bulb? I'll be installing gauges from Southwest Auto in the Group Deal section.

To make the needles red all I did was take a red sharpie and color them. I had to put a few coats on to make them darker. The holes for the screws are not needed but I wanted the screws to help hold the gauges down. I just used a drill and estimated where the holes should be.

Plurco, if there would ever be a meet in this state I would be there.
