What do you guys recommend my car has 77650 miles on it. Will it help performance? I dont need a tune up but I just would like to extend the life of The Max .

I'd be careful about adding anything. ZMAX is being taken to court just like Slick50, and the others (search ZMAX)

You might look into MotorVac service which flushes either the fuel line or oil system (I did the fuel at 40K). Somebody did warn about the seals around the pistons when you clean gunk out though - that gunk might be the only thing keeping your seal tight.

If you change your oil according to manufactures recomendations you should not have any problems nor will you increase engine life in doing so. Some people on this forum swear by synthetics but they also live in very cold climates and say their oil flows better on start up. I live in San Antonio so that is of no concern to me. The owners manual talks of the API symbol on the oil and if you are using the correct one then you will be doing just fine.

If you want better protection you can try AMSOIL (www.amsoil.com) With a preferred membership ($10 cost) you can purchase their products at a discount price, approx 23% off. It's supposed to be one of the best synthetic oils on the market. Best of all you only have to change it once a year (filter change every six months). If you do a search you will find more information about it. Do some research on oil and make an informed choice. I would avoid additives.
