How does him saying there are 2889 maximas at cardomain do any of what you mentioned above. I noticed that there are many maximas there but didn't bother making a whole thread about it because it's basically POINTLESS.

But then again the maxima has been around what since 1985? Ofcourse there's gonna be a lot

EDIT: since i have nothing else better to do, Maximas aren't the highest number on that site...Mustangs are one of them, (5,658) and the everso common Honda Civic. (6,982) (6,980 of them which are ricers)

i never knew maximas were so popular. or rather that they were so heavily modded (not riced out). every time i say im doing something to my car, my friends always go, "how come ur modding a family sedan, thats weird?" i always tell them to come here and see how many ppl mod a "family sedan" then i say its a sports sedan.

Educate your friends...then they'll respect Maximas. When 4th gens were introduced they were the fastest FWD cars in America (5 speed).

As oppsoed to yours? You didn't need to post either, 2 posts in a row for that matter. There is an edit button that lets you EDIT your posts instead of just stacking them on top of eachother.

Um... WRONG. FWD DSMs > FWD Maximas in a straight line. And if you don't believe me, just look at the numbers. 210hp vs 190. 200tq vs 200tq (is that what the maxima has? I think so) Not to mention the FWD DSMs were about 300-500lbs lighter depending on options. So please... educate yourself.

I have a friend with a Turbo AWD Eclipse...2nd gen and I know another guy wiht a 2nd gen but his is NA. Anyway the guy with the Turbocharged one says Maximas and those DSMs you're talking about are about even. Average 1/4 mile times in magazines for DSMs of the same year were usually 15.5 and below...and so were Maximas. Maximas performed about even with DSMs. But I was wrong...shoulda said the 4th gen Maxima was the fastest Japanese sedan in the US when it was introduced. I apologize for relaying wrong information, but no need to get all cocky

If I ran a 15.5 in a turbocharged DSM I'd kill myself and never ever go to the track again.

Maybe he meant to say fastest N/A FWD car, the ECLIPSE doesn't really belong there since the FWD non-turbo was a joke car.
