I am going to do this shortly. So what all do I have to do? From reading these 2 threads i get a heat gun and take off ALL the sticky film (the red and the amber). So that leaves the tails all clear. Right? Then i tape off the turn signal portion and paint with that stuff from wal-mart. Let dry and then apply? Is this all right?

[being nice] No, 95/96's can not be cleared out like 97-99's. he bought these all clears which aren't made anymore and painted them. they are very rare to find and can't be found at a store unless they've been hiding on a shelf for 4 or more years. [/being nice]

I'm like them, a lot. Too bad I don't think red/clears are worth over $300, other wise I'd do it.
