'97 Leather interior color-Official name of brown color?

Does anyone know the officialname of the color of the tannish- brown leather in a 1997 Max? The VIN is no help. I need to touch up a spot on the seat with some dye/paint, but I need the Nissan name of the color to order the stuff.
Thanks.

PS: Never leave a cell phone charging on seat. It might just overheat and ruin the finish.

All I can remember is the outside is called Pebble Beige. I'm not sure if that's what they called the inside also. Let me know if you find it...i've been using touchup that I found at a good shoe repair shop that is a pretty good match, but not perfect. I'm getting wear on the driver's seat on the outside from getting in and out!

I checked my door panel last night and the color was Tan/Beige. I didn't see a trim code like american cars have, so tell the dealer to look for TAN!!!

There were only 3 interior color choices: black, gray and tan. I dont thinkyou'll get the wrong one if you order "tan".

#1: I didn't ask about going to a dealer.
#2. Tan/beige?? What color is that? Never heard of it.

#3. Nissan uses color names like "Saddle", "New Beige" ( the color of the dash), Blond, etc.

#4. Your answer didn't help anyone.

I have two 4th gen brochures, one a '95 and the other a '99. Both of them list the same 3 colors. They are: beige leather/cloth, charcoal leather/cloth and sereno cloth/leather (sereno leather not avail. in '95).Not sure what color sereno is.

Sorry to confuse. The tan/beige is what Nissan called the interior colors when they made my car and put the sticker on my doorpost (mine has leather). I was just reading you off what was on the sticker. From what you said in #3, the "beige" part that I found on the sticker might be listed at Nissan now as "New Beige" which = the dash color. Have you looked at your door sticker to see if there's a designation? You didn't mention the names Nissan gave you in any earlier post, so I can understand your frustration. If they actually have the touchup at the dealer ask to test it out since they don't seem to be sure which one to give you. From the choices you found I would try their "Saddle" color. I ended up going to a good shoe repair store that stocked dozens of leather dye colors. They let me take several cans out to the car to try to match things up with the tops of the cans. I found one that is very close.
