Just installed Techonosquare ECU for my MAX!!!

I got my 96 5spd ecu back about a week ago and finally installed it into my 97 5spd max. The difference is night and day. I havent had a chance to use my gtech with it yet, but I will post some results soon.

Stock
0-60 - 7.33s
1/4 - 15.52s

w/UDP
0-60 - 7.28s
1/4 - 15.46s

w/UDP, CAI
0-60 - 7.13s
1/4 - 15.33s

w/UDP, CAI, Y-pipe,CAT, Catback and my 19" rims
0-60 - 6.76s
1/4 - 15.05s

Also remember that these are gtech results which mean they are consistant but not always fully accurate. According to gtech these results will be slighty worse than what you will see at the track or dyno.
These times are all with crappy 60 ft times(2.4-2.5) not really trying for the best start. My car feels a little more peppy with my 16" rims but not that much.

My times should easily be 14.6-14.7. I feel lots more power all across the rpm band but mostly in late 2nd gear and all of 3rd and 4th. I would highly recommend this mod to everyone.

MY MODS ARE:
Warpspeed MB aluminum Y-pipe
Warpspeed Metallic Substrate Cat
Apexi WS Cat-back
Unorthodox UDP
Place Racing CAI w/Apexi Dry Filter

with "w/UDP, CAI, Y-pipe,CAT, Catback " you should be running mid 14's if you have a manual. Then With ecu , should be runing low 14's.

That is probably true, but if you look at my times I really have the potential to run 14.7-14.8 without the ecu. Like I said I have not really tried to get the best start, just consistancy for all of them. This was also with 19's on. If I tried really hard with my 16's without the ecu I would probably be running 14.6-14.7
I might put on my 16's when I test the ecu on my gtech just to see the difference in times. This is also running 40psi front and back with 1/2 tank of gas, 1200 ft elevation and everything in the trunk. Im pretty confident that if I went to the track and took everything out and put my fornt psi down to 30 I would run 14.6 with the 19's and 14.3-14.4 with my 16's.

So what do you do? Do you send off your ECU and then they tweak it to your specifications or to a "Mod List"? How long does it take for all of that to be done? How easy/hard is it to remove the ECU? How much down time was there for your car? And last but not least what are the pros/cons other than performance?

your gtech results seem a little whacked out.

take the 19's off and go to the track. I would much rather see real timeslips.

The stock times you have are really bad. I had between 7.0 and 7.3 on my STOCK 96 AUTO max.

And that's why you can't trust a Gtech for accurate times.

I am thinking about getting an ecu. Where did you find your ecu and for some reason I don't really understand how you do business with technosquare. Anyone know?
