i want rear headrests, like the I30,, help

Instead of me buying the whole back part of the i30's seat with the rear headrest from a junkyard for around $200, is it possible for me to just buy the pair of rear headrests and drill two holes in our seats?

do you guys know what i'm talking about?

I know what you are talking about, but I'm pretty sure you would need to get the whole back seat to get the headrests.

If you just drill into the back seat there won't be any support, I'm pretty sure that they will just be jammed into the foam. If you want to drill holes just use any headrests.

You know what I say?

**** the passengers! They don't need headrests!

Adding headrests to the stock rear seat would look weird because of the small "headrest" that is molded into the top of the seat. The I30 doesn't have that, the seat just flows to the headrest.

Not a bad idea though if it actually looked right...let us know how it goes if you try it.

the reason why i want the rear headrests is so that in the future, i can have 5 tv screens installed.
right now i only have one (7" microvision) in the dash. and i know i'll be getting 2 more for the stock headrests.. then i'll really want 2 more for the back passengers' headrests.

i saw a lexus gs300 with tv's on all four headrests and my mouth just dropped,,,, ever since then i always wanted to do the same..
get what I'm saying??

it may sound really corny to some members but it's my money. =) haha

Would the screens be facing front of the car or the back? I don't understand how that would work either way....

Watch tv looking at the back seat, or watch tv from the window outside???

I always wondered what the thought process was to put in TVs where passengers won't see them. QUite frankly, you're an idiot, yes I said it...because its a complete waste of time and money...and for what? a maxima? so people can break in and steal all your stuff or better yet...take the car..then you'll post.."Someone stole my car" or "SOmeone broke into my car and took my tvs"

soon we're going to be like the honduh community if people keep coming up with ideas like putting in tv's into the rear headrests. . . it's your money but it's just plain stupid. . . for what??? to showoff that you have 2 tv's that completely serve no purpose??? and yes, I'm waiting for the day that you create a thread saying "all 5 of my tv's got stolen" hahaha. . . good luck anyway.
