Mufflers

Ok guys, need your opinions again

I want to upgrade my exhaust and the muffler is first

What to do

Should I buy a muffler like greedy sp2?

or should I get a 5th gen meffler and install tips on it?

The cheaper way would be to get the 5th gen meuufler cause I have it lying around in my basement and put tips on it cause it is from a gxe model and the tips are ugly

or should I sell that muffler and get me a greedy sp2 muffler?

i know people have both of these setups so pics if possible what would you guys do if you were in my place

thanks

i've read that swaping a 5th gen muffler for a 4th gen muffler will give you a gain of 1hp to the wheels, so that wouldn't my choice if i was going for performance, but of course its will be more quite than SP2

No muffler is going to give you any noticeable hp gain. If you're going to upgrade everything exhaust wise then it would be wise to keep your stock 4th gen muffler or get a 5th gen muffler for a slightly more aggressive sound. If you get an aftermarket straight-through muffler it'll sound raspy as hell.

I like my Powertech PT-1011...very buff and deep sounding both outside the car and inside.

I dunno about you guys but I'm into doing little-things the cheap way so that I later have enough money for the major upgrades so I just went with a cut-out, it was $20 for the pipe, I welded it in right between the CAT and the B-Pipe and I scare the crap out of people with that thing because they see the stock muffler and tip on there but hear "beastly roars", so its all up to you...
