Are you planning on doing the work yourself? If not the average price in the Northeast for a new clutch is ~$600 total including parts and labor.

If you are looking for just a cheap daily driver clutch for your dad go OEM. The key value is the cheapest, but if you don't want that OEM is it. Don't buy an aftermarket clutch...that would not make sense...

Pappa Grande: Nope. Someone we know is gonna come install it here.

Max240: Do you know what brand the clutch was from NAPA??

Endus: Since I'll be getting the car and I've seen an Exedy stage one for under $200 on Ebay, it seems like the most realistic solution. OEM would be nice, but the price doesn't justify it.

Do any auto parts stores sell the Exedy stage one kit?? If not, where else can I find it?

OEM is out of the question now. It's gonna cost me over $200 so i might as well go with an exedy stage 1 for over $50 less.

On another note, has anyone dealt with eCLUTCHMASTER on Ebay before?? They are selling an exedy stage 1 kit for $114 plus S&H

i just replaced mine for a 150$ and my buddy replaced his for 350$. i went stock and got it from auto zone (life time warentee) and he went with a act clutch that he got on line. we both replaced our own and it took 2 days so we didnt taken for a ride bringing it somewhere else. if your not planning on building a strong tranny i would go with oem because while the act produces a little bit better performance, its a chore to drive everyday and takes the smoothness out of the ride.

I can get cheap stuff of the dealership but I will need to ship it to you. The discount could be anywhere from 10%-40%.

Don't get key value, it will go in like 30,000 miles.

infinitiblast: Oh. I didn't know that

5spdFastMax: I was thinking more along the lines of OEM or Exedy OEM replacement. But thanx anyway

ABK: Sounds interesting. Can you PM me with a quote on a OEM clutch kit including pressure plate, disk and throwout bearing??

I've dealt with eclutchmaster before...no problems and the clutch is exactly like stock. Theres actually a guy here called "Clutch King" or something. Get in touch with him and he can hook you up

To everyone that has posted that truly cares. You get what you pay for! thats the bottom line. You want a $20 clutch by all means go for it. Guarantee you will lose two-three times the amount of money on the labor and other miscellaneous parts. When the tranny comes off so does the tranny oil.

Quit been so da*mn cheap you have to places to get a good stock clutch., www.courtesynissan.com or jerryromenissan.com something like that. Both of those dealerships are pretty good places to start with. Your car your wallet do as you please. Just dont back and post BS oooh my clutch broke what should I do?

I will prolly go check today how much it will be, but I don't guarantee it but I think it might be around $150 and you pay shipping I got to go check what discount he is going to give me.

Do you need clutch alightment tool to or not?

Maybe he is going to go crazy and give it to me under huge discount I don't know. I will try to tip him so he does.

Thanks alot man Only thing is I'm kinda on a time budget so when can you get in touch with him?? But $150 for an OEM sounds good considering it failed after 140,000+ miles.

Oh yea, clutch alignment tool too please
