DeCarb

I recently took my car in for some maintenance, one of the things they tried sticking me for was to De-Carb my engine? What is this and is it worthwhile to do at 86k? (I declined their offer)

nissan did this for free for me.....the car idled much smoother and around 900 for a lone time, and gas milage went up alittle. they did it for free when i had my throddle postioning sensor installed.

You mean you went to a delership to get a TPS installed? Was it under warrante or did you not know how to do it? Just aking.

If you mean your idle was at 900 when fully warmed up then the idle speed was not set correctly...
