well i called the nissan dealer ship to find out the same thing and he said there were no holes just a double sided tape but i didn't trust him so i pried it off a bit and took a peak, that fuccing idiot has not idea of what the he!! he was talking about , there are holes and some mold crap, but i was thinking aobut taking it off and just fill it in with some bondo or something. and they are not hard to take off its just hard getting the mold off, i recomend using a hair dryer or a heat gun, if ur gonna do that.

There are plastic clips/holes behind the molding. I was in an accident and the molding was off and I had to get a new piece and there were 3 holes where the molding should of been for about 2 weeks

i think it depends on the year cause i had seen one with the clips, so when i pulled mine off to shave i was expecting them. when i pulled it off there were none but 3 holes and some tape.

yes there is 3 holes and

there is a v shape grove down the hole side. TO get rid of it you have to weld a strip of metal cut to the same width of the grove and the grind down the welds, put all metal on, sand it, bondo it, prime it and paint it. Thats what im in the process of doing now while im shaving my door handles.

I don't see why people do this. They are there for a reason. It may look a little better right away, but how will it look when there are dings in it. They are there to protect your doors.

i think it makes the doors look too plain and bald, but i also wouldn't say i hate it. i like seeing a variety and changes from car to car so it's good to see every now n then. post pics when you guys are done. i remember the dude in high school with the beautiful blue max has them shaved, i forget his name though.
