I beat a 90 something thunderbird supercharged. My friend has a supercharged bird (stock) but thinks its the fastes thing on the street. Now I have been putting off racing the bird cause I was nervous about the sc. The other night we were going to the IHOP and we were following each other. Well we get stopped by a red light. You know what happened at the light. It turns green and we go for it. The max pulled very well in first (no tire spin). I was in front but not by much. Redlined first, shiftd to second, I was rounding 4500 rms when I heard the whine of the sc in the bird, I was ahead by about a half a car length by the time I shifted to 3rd, shifted to 4th after redline in 3rd, took it up to about 105 and laid off the throtle. It was a whole lot of s*** talking done at IHOP mainly by me. I now have one less maxima fan.
Its funny cause I thought for sure I would lose. I put my stock intake back on for the winter, took off the rims and toyo's and put the stock wheels and snow tires on, I took my UDP off. The only real mod I have is my Y-pipe. Just thought I would share, thanks for reading
