Ok, so I reset my CEL for my O2 code today......it turns off when the car is running, I have no CEL. When I turn the key over to ON without starting the car, the CEL light is on. Is this normal or am I cleard of the codes?? When I reset the light it went off at first in the ON mode, but not now. Is this normal?

are all the other lights on too? Mine lights up in the ON position, along with every other dash light.

 

Yes they are, so it must be cleared then???

 

if it's not on when the car is running, and you have driven a hundred miles or so since you reset it, then yes it's cleared.
