tein s tech pictures

check my homepage.. got these springs installed.

ride quality with the agx is pretty hard/sturday. i like it the way it is though. the settings are 3/6. the springs sit low and even. it didnt take long for them to settle. wheels are 17x8 konig tantrum. i'd recommend that size in just about any wheel.. but overall i'm happy with the springs. just get an alignment!! my toe was WAY out of range, as i found out today.

very nice. The only thing I hate about the teins is the color
Do you have any more pics of your calipers with the wheels on?

With the green springs and red struts. It looks like you have the Christmas Suspension Package. The drops is nice though.

I've heard that the tein springs may sag like the progress springs over time. Only thing thats holding me back from switching to them. I'm gonna wait and see what happens.

Can you take a pic of the side, showing the drop on both ends, I want to see how they compare to my setup. All I ever see are shots of the front of Teins.

I know the fronts are lower then my setup, I want to see the over all drop. It may be time to swap my setup.

do you have sprints? mine sit a rather noticeable amount higher in the rear than in the front. i'm debating on swapping mine out as well but I want the JIC FLT-A2's. I'll just have to see if I can put up with the 'raked' stance my car has until i get the dinero.

i'll post pictures in a bit..

but ihad a question. i took the car out for a drive and i noticed that anywhere above 40mph when i press the gas i feel a slight high freq. vibration in the pedal and steering wheel. the passenger can feel it under his feet. when i let off the gas the vibration is gone and it rides normally. what the hell is this.

Yes, Im on Sprints. Cut a coil in the rear and they will sit even.

mrnock,
I dont know what your experiencing. Maybe it has somthing to do with the lowered stress on the axles? Seems if that was the case people with coilovers would have it also. Maybe your in need of a camber kit. Ive always heard that anything over 2" should use one.

Those cenetering caps really dont do much. I used to have them. They seem to bu just to make mounting easier. As far as the alignment goes, they just try to get you as close to spec as they can, not completly perfect.
