Finally did my Blue LEDs for my switches

Well today I finally decided to do it since I had off from work and was finished with school early. Got the LEDs off ebay, I love them, I still have to go back and fix the lock/unlock switch LED cause it wont light up and the passnger front side switch is dkmmer than the rest so I have to change it. Here are the results, sorry for bad quality =P

Is that hard to do? Might try if it is cause I'm not that good with modding things but that looks so great! What do I need?

Its kind of hard if you're not to handy with electrical stuff. Soldering and unsoldering without touching contacts, especially on the drivers switch can be real tricky. The problem with my lock/unlock button was this: the new LEDs are way bigger than the old LEDs, I have a pic but it isnt uploaded yet. This problem would only occur on the drivers switch because the holes for the LEDs are too small, so the new LED would not fit fully, causing too much pressure and maybe even break, which is the situation in my case. And yes, it is brighter in person, I like it, it matches my gauges

if you do not want to drill new holes into the holes that the old LED's go into , get 3MM LED's the one's that are on redmax99l's website were 5mm. I made mine white and they look VERY classy and uppperclass stock. DIdn't go wtih blue because they would look kinda ricey, but that's my opnion. I'm planning to do the gauges next with white 194's. If you guys have any questions on any model from 95-99. Send me a IM.

Good point, I love the color the blue gives off, but I'm afraid of the ricey feeling, do you happen to have a pic of the white LEDs? I'm even considering taking out the blue 194 LEDs in the door light =P

pics

here's some pics of white LED's. They look good to the already white lights in the car.

I used 5MM led's, 3mm's would be easier so you don't have to expand the hole on the switches.

If you do blue, I would suggest getting the whole car blue like arrafio's.

I'm probably gonna change thew hite bulbs to a brighter white to make the car look more luxurious and like the car came with the high quality lights.

Are the 3mm LED's not as bright as 5mm's? and how do you fit the 5mm in the lock/unlock button?
