Gearstick question

Gearstick question

okay so I'm the second owner of my car but the guy b4 me apparently took a hacksaw blade to the gearstick and cut it off to replace it with this ugly silver thing that looks like some **** I've seen In Canadian tire, my question is.....is there anywhere I can get a replacement gearstick? and would it it take alot of work to replace it or what....also where could I find a wicked maxima shift ****?...since I don't know where the original is....thanks in advance guys.

are u auto or five speed? with an auto i think its just some bolts and u can swap in another one. on a stick u can opt for an sts or someones old stock shifter

Or if you like it short you can get an aftermarket ****. Try the parts wanted forum here, or look around on ebay. If it's been hacked and you want to keep this stick then you'll need to put threads on this one, but most of the aftermarket ones don't need them because they screw in from the side.
