I wouldn't try any funky tire sizes without going to the track on stock sized tires first. The goal at this point is to finish the 1/4 at the right spot in 3rd gear. For me a 235-40-17 is just perfect and has me finishing at about an indicated 6700 in 3rd but the dyno says I am making 20 less hp, so a different tire size may be required.
