It has a deeper sound to it. It gave me good gains with my exhaust. As you get towards 2 k rpms and higher you get this sucking sounds almost like a turbo would give you. I had a bit of trouble drilling the hole because i didnt have the right tools. If you have the right tools its not hard at all. Id say the hardest part of the whole into is getting the boots on the intake pipes. The boot that goes on the MAF on one side and the pipe on the other took about 45 mins for me to do. Its well worth it once you have it .
Good Luck.

I bought the PRCAI a long time ago...and I love it. I was a little leery about drilling a hole in my car too, but then again...who wouldn't be?
The drilling went well, and now I have a normal sounding car (easy driving) that I can make ROAR when I want (foot to the floor).
In terms of performance, I am personally of the opinion that all intakes offer the same gains: minimal, at best.
