I just wanted to know if you guys know people who mod there maximas in your town? I was surprised that there are soo many in my little town. I have roughly um............9 maybe two more. How many do you guys have? Oh and when I say modded, (that includes whichever, performance and visual add ons)

I don't know of any more in my town. I have not seen any. The nearest one to me is probably Cesar's Chariot down in McComb, Mississippi. I have a few mods already, but plan to keep getting more......I take that back...I saw a Sage Mist Green one with clear corners, but that was all.

 

Zero, zip, nadda, zilch...the only Maxima's at all are two 5th gen's (a 2k/2k1 and a 2k2/2k3)...let alone any modded ones.

 

none.. maybe one but I don't know the person, but it was totally riced out... yuck

in the alamo city, 1.) clear bumper lenses, altezzas gen1, stillen fstb, stillen y, stillen flywheel, ACT clutch, came on the org once forgot his name though. 2.) y-pipe, cai, catback, flowmaster muffler, and a dry 60 shot (southtexmax96). 3.) y-pipe, fstb, blue led interior convertion, cai, stillen lip, sweet stering mist color, sick@ss dark tint, trevor forgive me i forgot what kind of muffler and anything else.(ohannon7) There are also others but don't really know who there are.

 

in my town.. i am the one and only.. i see know of two close to me but i never see them. i think im exempt from this b/c my town is 2 sq miles by 2 sq miles..

ok, I live in lowell,MA , and for the past few weeks i have seen a toon a maximas around here, Today I met some kid (I think his name is Cris, but I can't remember his nickname here at the max.org), well here is the list of the ones I think I remember

Blue 6 (one with xeno lights) (one with half altezza hal oem)(one with a hood scoop in a portuguese club) ( two with loud exausts and alltezza lights) (I haven't seen this one but (Cris) told me about this funcky tail light max)
Green 3 (mine) (Cris) (unknow)
Red 1 (unknow)
turkish blue ( Can't remember his name)

And One more thing Most of this Maximas I saw At U-mass Lowell, so if you live in lowell you can Identify yourself and specify your car...

 

What do you consider modded? I don't consider altezzas and a dash kit modded.

So I'm going to answer zero.

 

The only person I know of is 96shogunmax, but I don't believe he lives in Memphis per say.

 

one, a silver one. the only thing i saw on the exterior were clear bumper lights and alteezas.

 

There are few around me, few stillen kitted 4th gens, altough I doubt they know about the org. There used to be a hooked up blue 98SE in the town next to me (litte ferry NJ), but I believe his got stolen.

 

zero in my town. there is one the next town over with altezzas but i dont know if that counts

 

Here in San Diego I have seen a few, but not a high number. Most were fixed up nicely, only a couple cheesy ones. There are Org. members here, but I do not know them. The only other person that I know here in town that owns a Maxima is my sister, she has a stock 2000 SE. I have a couple of friends that are now seriously looking at the Maxima as their next car. One of them had a pretty big smile after I let him drive mine.

Last month I came to an instersection with a four way stop. To my right hand side there was another black Maxima. I think it was a 97 or so with ski racks on the roof. It had 18" rims and was lowered, looked nice. We both looked at each other, smiled, and nodded. He then told me to go first eventhough he was arrived at the intersection first.

3 Weeks ago I met one Maxima owner at the gas station he worked at. He owns a 96 with some chrome rims and altezzas. He came up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy his Altezza's. I was polite and said no thanks, and if I was going to change the tail lights they would be the ones that got rid of the amber light, and replaced it with a clear one. He said that he did not like how his car looked with them on. He bagan looking at my car, said it looked nice, and asked what I had done to it. I explained to him the mods that the car had, and why I chose to put them on. We talked for a little bit, but he had to go back to the cash register because there were customers going in, and I also had to get home to cook dinner for the kids. He told me to come back so we can talk again, he said he had more questions. I told him to check out Maxima.org, check the 4th gen forums and faqs. I will try to stop by there soon. He works at Shell and I usually go to Chevron, but I went there because the Max was running on fumes.

 

i've seen this one around my area that looks how mine used to, but only a little more beat up and a roof rack. he has altezzas and i now realize why everyone hates them. the more i see them, the more i think they look like trash on the car. yes, some look cool with painted skyline style, some gen2's look ok depending on the color, but there's another white max with gen 2's near me and i want to puke when i see it.

it seems like the more i go near cities, the more maxes i see with altezzas.

 

I hold it down dolo in my home town....otherwise me and Kmaxx rep at the university.

THats cool, yeah alot of the people in my town have the altezzas, pratically all of them, I have them but with the skyline mod, i guess its the taste that we have in town, most of them have rims, only like 4 or 5 are modded engine wise, mine, sleepermaxx68, Rafa's, John's, and Luis

 

I saw one, at circuit city in monroeville, outside of pittsburgh, and the same one on the triboro. The one day at circuit city a waited a bit to talk to him, but he was in there for a while so i left. So really just one

 

In Kansas City we have about 20 modified Maximas in KCMaxima.org group with another 10 or so spread out within 100 miles of KC. There are a lot more Max owners in KC than I ever thought possible.

Btw I've seen maybe 20 over the years, 3rd-6th gens.

 

i only know of a white 5th gen that i see running around paramus and stuff. it looks really nice and has a full body kit on it.

 

there are like 7 more maximas total in my town. 2-3 5th generation, 1-2 3rd generation, and 1-2 4th generation. there is no one else in town that has theres modded to the slightest bit. the only cars modded here in town would be ricers, suhc as civics, integras, cars of that nature

 

I live where cars are outnumbered by horses and cowboys, No other Maximas in my hood.

Hey man whats up! Yeah that was me (Chris).
I guess the only one I would add/clarify is the "funky tail light max". Somebody took all clears, and painted them in a checkered fashion: red on the top outside corners, and bottom inside corners. Probably some mesh of 95/96 and 97-99 rear ends. Fugly though =)

Oh and I have seen only one modded maxima in my town.

 

2 in my garage.
6 last weekend at my house
4 this weekend at my house (with a possibility of more)
3 two weekends from now at my house (with a possibility of more)

 

As far as i know i am the only one and i dont even have that much... i have clear corners, altezzas (gen 2 cf), and system, with door inserts and sills on the way. There is one other max that i have seen and he has clear corners and a shaved rear trunk lid... thats it. Other than that the nearest one i know of is the brother of one of my coworkers, he has done a good bit to his.

 

I know of about 8 in my hood. 3 are org members. four of us have the same damn color.. evergreen, and only three are FI...but there are alot
of people becoming maxima believers.. so that might be ten by the time this is posted.. P.S. Forgot to count my two brothers and my sister in law.. i had mine first

 

None in my city, clostest to me in Blue C in EP ( about 15 or 20 miles away).

 

There are a handfull in the Buffalo area. I know some of them. Most of them don't come here that often...

We did have a turbo'ed 4g in the area for a while, but that's been un-turboed and sold.

 

i dont see that much of modded maxima around Orange County in Cali...

all i see is stock maxima

You must not get out much, I used to live out there over 8 yrs ago, and there were atleast a few modded cars out there. Returning there for a trip last summer, I saw atleast 8-10 modded max's, not to mention all the other nissans I saw out there. What part of Orange county to you live in?

BTW, when I landed there, I was surprised to see Stillen on the side of the runway, never knew they were located in Irvine.

 

I'm the only one Here. The other Maxs in town are all owned by older women.

 

I live in Minnetonka, outside of Minneapolis and there are two that I have seen and it seems that there are more around though. We should set up a Minnesota group meet!
