injen cai question
injen cai question
My friends are getting me an Injen CAI as a late christmas present and I have a few questions.
1) is this one of the CAI's that you have to drill a hole in the fender for? I ain't skeered. just curious.
2)I live near Pittsburgh Pa and winter and spring can be very wet. small lakes tend to form on the roads. does anyone have experience driving with the Injen CAI in lots of water? Will it suck in water?
Let me have it guys, all the info and experiences you have.

No, you do not have to cut into the fenderwell. It sits behind the radiator.
Where the filter is located is just above your bottom splashgaurd. So you can drive in wet weather without worrying about hydrolock, but I wouldnt go through any extremely deep puddles just to be safe!
I have this intake and am pretty happy with it. I havent had any issues with it.
