I was just wondering what sort of gain i would get if i were to run a pipe down to the bottom of my car opposed to just having it where the stock air filter used to lie. Is it really worth doing, cuz im kinda strapped for cash at the moment and was looking into gettin a K&N exhaust done.

 

You're talking about a midpipe vs. CAI. That's been a heated debate for some time now.
