Hydraulics on a Maxima?

Does anyone have Hydraulics installed on their maxima?

I am very interested in that and i would like to know how much it would cost and if it is even possible.

There is a big difference between hydraulics and bags. To my knowledge, no one has done this to their maxima...

Seen Air on Some

Yeah I have seen some guys running air... Its not to complicated and could be done for relatively cheap... The reason to go with AIR rather then hydros is because you do not have to deal with the batteries nor the mess of fluids when lines break.

Try to stay away from the collapsible air/struts.. The best way to go is with cylinders. They run about $100-$150 a piece.. You would want to go with at least 3? with the MAX recommend 4? because of the weight of the car. You will need at least 8 valves depending on what you want to do and that the price really varies on But probably around $300-$500 for something decent. Next you will need tanks. Relatively cheap. Probably only looking at like $100. The only other real expensive part is the compressor which u you want to spend at least $250-$300 on. And depending on size of lines you run fittings and line will run around $200.. If it was me I would budget 1500 but I can be done for way less. Actually you could spend about 1100 but that would be pretty slim.

I am familiar with hydraulics but not with a Maxima. I've only done Chevy's. The cost for basic installation of hydraulics is about $2000. As far as the pros and cons of airbags vs hydraulics, is that hydros are faster and quieter (they don't sound like semi truck airbrakes) and they take up about the same amount of room. But the airbags have a smoother ride.

hydros ride alot better then airbags since they are accumulated and also have springs.... depending on where your from man I have buddy's out here that would hook it up phat. but he is right about the trunk space depending on the system you go with will take up about the same trunk space IF not less then the air.
