I want to buy the leather guts out of a 98' Maxima. Does anyone know if they will fit into my 96' Maxima. I mean are they compatible?

Please let me know.

Another option for you would be to find a Classic Soft Trim dealer in your area. I bought my max used with a two-tone custom leather interior already in place. They are who I tracked it back to. They have packages for the maxima. Got pics of mine if you want them.

Maxaudio,
If you have the same front seat configuration, i.e., power or manual adjusters, then they should fit.

interior swap

I went through this when I first bought my max. The seats and the door panels are the same(95-99) and will bolt on but
the door switches from a 95-96 are different wiring configeration than a 97-99. If you have a 95-96 you have no other choose than to use your old door switches with the 98 door panels. Other than that every thing is the same. You may have to run powerlines to the power seats your car already isn't pre-wired for power seats. I know all about this stuff. I bought my car dirt cheat through theft recover, and they put in 95 interior on my 97. The headache
was from the stupid door switches. I also want to change my leather interior and get new seats because my drivers side
power seat track is bad. At least someone will profits off of my pain. I had to learned this the hard way. I hope this helps you.

Sorry I'm getting off topic here,
Hey Maxi-milliyon, I have a few questions if you don't mind

You say you got your car dirt cheap through theft recover? what is that? exactly how cheap was it? was it in poor condition? Where!?!
Its just that I'm looking to get a 95+ Maxima sometime in near future, and I don't have a lot of $, I might be able to go to 9 grand or so, not more.... I also remember you posting that you are also from S.I. so that is why I'm asking...

again, sorry to bother you and get off topic, but I'm desperate
