HELP! Corner Light Replacement

Hello,
I have been browsing these forums since '99 but this is my first post. I got into a minor fender bender in a parking lot and I need to replace my passenger side Parking Light. I think that it is called a Parking Light. It is the one that is right beside the headlight. I have a new light to install and to save some money I was going to do it myself, but I ran into some trouble. Whenever I open my hood I see the screw on the top of the light that I can unscrew very easily. But, there is another screw near the bottom of the light that I do not know how to get to. Is there an easy way to get to this screw and unscrew it so that I can put the new light in? I have looked in the FAQ's posts but I could not find any specific information on what I need to know. By the way, I have a 1996 Maxima GXE. If I didnt make myself clear with what I need to know, just let me know and I will try to take pictures of what I am talking about. Thanks in advance for all of the help.

yes, alot of people have had this problem, but there is no screw in the middle, theres this thing that you have to pop it out off, put ur screw driver in between the pop out thing and pull, the first time its pretty hard to take out cause it hasnt been touched in a long time so it gets jammed, i also thought there was a screw there.

On my replacement light there is another screw at the bottom of the light. I just want to make sure that I dont mess anything up. I am going to go out and try it again, but if you could, just to confirm, there is only one screw on that light, is that right? Thank you so much for your help.

yeah, i had the same problem when i was replacing my bulbs. i thought it was a screw, so i just said screw it (no pun intended) and was able to get the bulbs through a lot of hassle without taking the housing off.

I am actually trying to replace the entire housing of the parking light. I think that there are two screws in there. One of them at the top that I can take off very easily and the other one is at the bottom that I do not know how to get to. Thanks again for all of your help. If anybody has any more suggestions/comments I would love to hear them.

no, when you change the bulb, you take the whole light out so it just hangs on by the wire, so you take it out the same way if ur replacing the light
