dash kit help!!

hey guys... i was just wondering if anybody else had trouble with their dashkits. i bought a ghetto one off of ebay (carbon fiber) and the shiny epoxy thats on top of the carbon fiber is cracking bad. especially around the middle a/c vents and the clock/hazard/defroster surround. i installed as instructed with the heat gun and everything but it still cracked. it might be due to the weather as colorado goes through some crazy weather swings. anyways the question is... now i want to go with brushed aluminum but i want a kit that doesn't have the shiny epoxy on it. does anybody make one? also which is the most complete kit available and for how much. i know about the custommaxima one and the joshua dashkits. i just want one that doesn't crack and looks good. any help would be great. thanks.

I never had any problems with my kit. I also use a sun shade on hot summer days. That helps protect the dash from extream heat which could lead to it's failure.
