Jwt Ecu

After reading many posts about people receiving their ecus and loving it. It's bugging me that i haven't received mine yet. I sent my ecu into Cattman to get modified by JWT on 2/1. My question is how long exactly does it take them to modify it? I fookin want my ecu, d@mmit!

Isn't it like weeks or months? That used to be the turnaround if I remember. You sent it in just over a week ago and you're whinning? JWT probably didn't even get it til a few days ago.

lol dude read the multiple threads about this. It took me 8 weeks to get mine back. It took Mike D 10 or 11 weeks. You probably wont have it until early/mid april.

I hope you have a backup plan in the meantime (spare ECU, other car, etc.)

Because JWT are a bunch of jokers when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. They think they are the only game in town, so they think they can do WTF they want.

I sent mine in a few weeks ago too. He told me 4-6 weeks, closer to 6.

I was quoted 2-3 weeks for mine on a couple occasions. As you can see it took about 3 times that. I sent mine in at about exactly the same time of year too.

I used a spare ECU that Neal lent me. Just about any 4th gen ECU will work in just about any other 4th gen. A used one can be picked up for around $75.

They had mine for 5 weeks. Since you went through Cattman (middleman) expect it to take a bit longer because you have to ship to him, then he ships it to JWT, then JWT ships it to him, and then finally to you. All that extra shipping is probably worth an extra two weeks. This is why I choose to pay the extra $40 and go through JWT directly.
