Finding the Cheapest NGKs

just use copper they are cheaper in the long run, but they take alittle more time cause you have to change them every 30,000 instead of every 60. coppers are at napa for arpund $2 each while the platnums are around 12-14. ust go with the coppers....you have to size them to .40.

But if you don't change your own plugs then you might want to get the plats. But changing the plugs on our car is so simple you would be crazy to pay someone to do it.
I think that is what he meant.

Cheapest NGKs
Hey thisasian, the cheapest NGKs that I have found on the Internet were on this website ~~~> http://www.nissanparts.org/
I bought them for about $8.25 each, good luck.

Yes I use the coppers and they are supposed to come pre-gapped but check them anyhow.
I'm getting what feels like a slight misfire and I already tested the coils so I'm hoping that it is a plug problem. What's the number on the copper plugs. Haynes has the plug type as "NGK PFR5G-11(platinum) or equivalent".
I wanted to change my plugs soon. Looking for the best plugs. But I'm not boosted.
If i ordered colder spark plugs (BKR6E-11 or BKR7E-11), do you think that it would be better or worse for the engine?

I agree with the other guys...go with the copper from everything I have experienced and read. The copper is more conductive than the iridium or the platinum, although they don't last as long. You want them for their spark, not their longevity though. Anyway, I don't know if the v-power are supposed to be used on our cars. All I know it that they don't work too well on some cars.
I just ordered from http://www.rockauto.com because I was already ordering the fuel filter and pads. They are really cheap there though. Their checkout system is great! I would check them out, if I were you...they have tons of variety.
Just my .02
