spark plug pics....normal?????

spark plug pics....normal?????

Ok I took a picture of one of my spark plugs.............but they all looked like this some whiter than others..........is this a lean condition??? or what?

And too hot? Is there visible distortion on the ceramic? Check for intake manifold leaks after the MAF. Check the coolant temp sender. If too high a resistance, the ECU could think the coolant is coller then it is and be starving the engine.

yup, same picture in the haynes manual, hes right, check all that stuff out

Will do . I have had a noticeable hesitation, and lack of power problem for about a month.

Looking good. Nice and clean burning engine...The hesitations could be due to other problems. If the fuel that is used is 87 , that may be the answer to the hesiation. If the car is a 99 ,you may have a weak coil.

I had the situation backwards last night. Coolant too hot compared resistance. Resistance may be too low. 47f to 53f at running temp. After reading astil's responce, I pulled a plug and it does look about the same.

47 to 53 ohms. Considering I'm too sick to be at work right now, check the specs for testing in a manual. Sorry dude.

Well my car isnt running to hot I know that I will check the sensor for sure. One thing I did remember that I had opened up one day and didnt close back fully was the black scren the big plastic one on top of the IACV I think it is.........it was allowing more exhaust gases into the intake tract. thanks
