The maxima IMO looks so much better than a maxima without it. Good tastes...
With the tint, I bet you can give the finger to mean ol grannies that don't know how to drive without feeling bad.

Did the spoiler come painted? How well does it match? Did you install it yourself? Ok, I am done. Looks nice.

Yes. It matches well, I can't tell a difference. And yes I, well we (stepdad and I) installed it ourselves. IT involved drilling, but if you are handy with a drill, it should be easy. It was for him. I just sat there, drank a beverage, and watched.

seems like the spoiler is sitting too far in, i just looked at my car and the spoiler sits a lil further back, looks good tho, shoulda got those dents + dings fixed before gettin a spoiler and tints or ya shoulda just bought a pebble beige (i think thats ur color) SE trunk lid that woulda worked out in the end... all in all good job

Man thanks for putting me in the dumps. LOL. As for the large dent, the body shop wanted 750 for it. And both of these didn't cost me, the poor high school student, any money. My best option will be to buy a new trunk, but the system comes first. And I'm still paying off my wreck.

I like the way your ride looks too, even though I'm not a fan of rosewood. I can respect people that lower before wheels, but it's just so tempting...

Jesus christ, how many of you guys are from Marietta, GA ... There has to be at least 20 of you

Car looks good. I have 20% which looks a lot darker than that though. Time for a drop and then wheels

Maybe it's because it's a lighter car? Anways, yeah, Bijan and the rest of those guys are all posers, I truly run the streets of Marietta.

Man I wish I still lived in Gwinnett. I love that place. I'll be moving back down there after college so...

About the 5th gen rims. They are heavy as fu cking Rhinos, and IMO they look terrible. Put that $300-$500 into a nice set of good looking yet light aftermarket rims. Enough about the rims. I think this thread has converted my opinion on spoilers. I really like the way it looks on your max and it would look exactly the same on mine minus the clears. I am just like you guys. I learned the hard way the modding needs to be a slow process. I also learned that I value quality much more than quantity. For example: I wasted $1100 on a one stage paint job from MAACO and $600 on a piece of **** sound setup. Now I learned that I need to do things right the first time. Sorry for ranting. Just wanted to relieve my anger toward myself.

It is 20% all around...it's probably just the angle.

I disagree. I don't like the oranges on any color, but that's just me. I just need to quit procrastinating, and go order them. As for what's next, the system: new HU, speakers, amp, and sub. I haven't really decided on anything but the HU.

i would love to have tints.. but unfortunately, i live in PA (for school) and in NJ (home) and the cops will pull me over and i'll end up losing $$ by taking the tints off..

Actually what I meant to say (just came out wrong) is that mine is 20% but looks darker than 20%.

I agree, on a dark interior 20% is fine but I have tan and wish I would've gone to 15%.

About the looking darker thing; most tints don't measure out at exactly what they are rated for. My 20% measures at 18.9%. The 15% i have for sunroof and banner measures at 15.7%

Your red/clears look a little different in one of those pictures. Did you just take the orange off or order them that way...or am i just seing things? Anyways, nice investments, they look fantastic the only suggestion i would make would be to take off the Nissan sign (hamburger). its cheap and you can do it for free if you got some fishing line, compound and wax. Maybe some easy off oven cleaner if its hard to get the adhesive off, but either way, IMO, it will look a lot cleaner.

For my red clears, I took out the orange, and put in the little piece of something I got off of ebay, don't really know how to describe it. So yeah...

Your houses in your sigs definitely look like Atlanta houses. Everything here old and dingy. Speaking of Atlanta. I'm coming down there for a Saab driving school over spring break. Its one of the bonuses you get when you buy. Bought it from Jim Ellis. Anyway, the people I was planning to stay with are gonna be out a town. Anybody wanna let me shack up at their house.

"For most vehicles, aftermarket tinting that registers at least 35% on a tint meter on side windows immediately adjacent to the driver and front passenger seats, and side windows immediately to the rear of the operator and passenger, is acceptable. The rear window may be tinted to the 35% level, but the vehicle must be equipped with two outside rear view mirrors. The windshield may only be tinted down to the AS-1 line, which is usually located in the uppermost (6) inches of the windshield."

^^^^^^ They like to screw us in the bum here in Massachusetts. I was searching for tint laws for New Hampshire and Rhode Island because I constantly go through these states. NH is no tint in front, 35 rear, 35 rear windshield. RI says tint is illegal. So basically, I can't have tint if these laws are correct and up to date.

50% for passenger vehicles in Minnesota. If you have dark tint, it is not uncommon for a cop to call in backup in front and behind your vehicle because they cannot see clearly into your car. They are being super careful that your will not try to pull anything. Happened to a friend's bimmer that was slammed to the ground with 19% tint similar to mine.

look sgood, but that rear dent, you can probally make it look more then half way decent if you try and hit it out from inside. i believe its possible, check it out. might save you soem money, pop it out and throw a thiin layer of bondo over and then just have somone paint it.

It's in a really weird place, I didn't see any place where I can access it from, maybe I'll look again. I say a replacement trunk will cost me like 400 bucks, not what I'm willing to spend at this moment on a grapefruit sized dent.
