Needle sticking slightly with new indiglo gauges

My tach needle is sticking when I push it past 3000 RPM. Does anyone have any advice for fixing this. I was thinking of completely removing the stock black GXE gauges underneath to give the indiglos some more room to move. Has anyone done this? Should I try to lube the needles with a micro amount of WD-40 or something similar? Please let me know. Thanks,

Gramdacious

What did you do? Did you completely remove the screw? How big is it? Do your indiglos work correctly now? Thanks for the info

ummmmm.....its a small little screw. my indiglos didnt come "pre holed" so i had to poke a little hole in my indiglos and screw it down. so now the screw is infront of the indiglos instead of being behind them which was holding my needles. now of course, this was just the problem with mine and it doesnt necessarily mean that is whats wrong with yours. i'd hate for you take it all apart....not have the screw issue and get mad at me. but although i'm pretty sure its that screw that is holding your needles. either that or you broke your needles as you tried to install the indiglos.
