i don't think so, cause there are no bolts around the headlight so the headlight doesn't need to be removed, but i could be wrong, cause im taking of my bumper this weekend to take the 5 mph bumper off........and there is bolts in the wheel well....but u do need to take of the gril to get to the other bolts...

First, you need to take off the wheel well covers on the insides of the fenders, so you can get to the bolts that hold the fender to the bumper. There's 3 in there, and all it is is a nut that you unscrew. Then, unscrew the splash guards from the bottom of the bumper. Then, finally, pull off the grille, and there will be 3 bolts inder there that you need to pull off. After all that is done, just take out the corner lenses, and it will slide right off. If you have any questions, IM me on AIM, I just replaced the bumper on mine a week ago.

No you don't have to take the headlights off but I think you need to take the grill off. You will have to take all those splash shields on the bottom of the car off. It will take aleast one hour. It will be more, if those bolts are rusted.

You dont have to remove the lights, but it will be easier with them off.

thanks guys, the reason is I dont want to remove my headlights and grill because it took me a long time getting it to fit perfect.

Under the grill, there is a row of bolts that hold the bumper down, is that all that there is? because with my grill, I can acsess those without removing the grill I think

There are 3 bolts that hold it down, in a row, right under the grille. Since you have the billet grille, I think you probably can get those off without pulling off the grille, but it will be a helluva lot easier with it off.

For the 95-96 guys you do have to take off the headlights. I know this because I just completed my 97-99 Front End Conversion
